Rudy Fendlen is a Director and Head of Employment Law at WHN Solicitors. A Chartered Legal Executive Litigator, Rudy specialises in employment law and advises both employers and employees on a wide range of sensitive workplace issues and disputes.

As Head of Employment Law, Rudy leads WHN’s employment team and works closely with businesses of all sizes across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West. He provides strategic support to employers on the full spectrum of employment law issues, helping organisations manage their workforce effectively while minimising legal and commercial risk.

Rudy’s expertise includes advising on employment contracts, staff handbooks and workplace policies, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, sickness absence issues, settlement agreements, redundancy exercises and business restructures. He also represents clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and advises on claims involving unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract and other workplace disputes.

A strong advocate of proactive risk management, Rudy works with employers to identify potential issues before they develop into costly disputes. He regularly supports clients with reviewing employment documentation, strengthening workplace procedures, delivering practical training and implementing processes designed to protect both their people and their business.
