Our office in the historic, yet vibrant town of Accrington is a short drive to the M65 and a comfortable walk to the train station.
Located amid the rugged natural beauty of Pennine Lancashire, Accrington is just four miles from Blackburn, six miles from Burnley and 20 miles north of Manchester.
The town is famous for manufacturing the hardest building bricks in the world, which were used to construct the Empire State Building and for the foundations of Blackpool Tower.
As well holding Europe’s largest collection of Tiffany Glass at the Haworth Art Gallery, Accrington is proud of its sporting traditions. The town is home to football league club Accrington Stanley, while England cricketers who grew up there include former captain Mike Atherton and batsman Graeme Fowler, both currently TV pundits.
Show business links are also plentiful. Jon Anderson, frontman with rock band Yes, was born in Accrington, as were Coronation Street stars Vicky Entwistle (who played Janice Battersby) and Julie Hesmondhalgh (formerly Hayley Cropper).
Within our Accrington office, we have a number of expert solicitors that advise businesses, individuals and families.
