Daniel joined Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall Solicitors in 2009 before qualifying as a solicitor in 2011. Daniel became a partner in 2015 and now acts as the firm’s head of commercial which covers litigation, commercial property, and corporate and commercial services.

Heading up WHN’s property disputes team, Daniel is highly regarded in this complex area with an ever-increasing client base ranging from small tenant businesses to national and international landlords and investors. Daniel has also acted on reported Court of Appeal matters.

Daniel principally specialises in resolving disputes between landlords and tenants of commercial leases on matters including rent and service charge recovery, dilapidations, forfeiture, possession, insolvency-related matters, and lease renewal and termination.

His team also handles disputes relating to residential long leases including ground rent and service charge recovery, forfeiture, breach of covenant and all management and enfranchisement matters such as the section 20 consultation process, right to manage, appointment of a manager, freehold acquisition and lease extensions.
