WHN Solicitors is proud to once again support the Made in Bury Business Awards (MIBBAs).

The law firm has backed the awards since they were launched in 2013, sponsoring The WHN Manufacturing & Engineering category each year.

The MIBBAs, held in association with bestofbury and Bury Council, are held to champion local businesses and celebrate their outstanding achievements.

This year the ceremony is due to be held at the Longfield Suite, Prestwich, on November 26 and will welcome more than 300 guests.

As well as sponsoring a category, WHN has also helped to judge the awards every year and will do so again in 2020.

Michael Shroot, Chief Executive Officer of WHN, said: “There has never been a better time to focus on the great work being done by Bury’s business community.

“The borough’s six towns have a wide range of small to large businesses operating in a range of sectors, and the work they do to support each other and the local community is sometimes easy to overlook.

“The MIBBAs shine a spotlight on these businesses both locally and further afield, and reminds us all of the great work they’re doing.”

Sara Beaumont, director of WHN’s Commercial Dispute Resolution team, added: “As a MIBBAs judge for the last three years, I am always amazed at the variety of businesses which enter – from long-established companies to newcomers.

“The competition seems to get tougher each time, and being a judge is a great way to get to know the Bury business community.

“These awards are a fascinating insight for everyone involved in the business community on our doorstep, and a showcase for the best the area has to offer.”
