Lancashire legal firm cracks niche market

Newly merged Lancashire firm, Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall have completed a major car dealership sale as they continue to prove their expertise in niche business areas.

Shahin Akhtar, of the company’s Blackburn office, conducted the sale of J Pilling & Son’s, Accrington based car dealership trading as Greyhound Ford to Peoples Liverpool Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

The asset transaction saw the transfer of existing staff, property and business assets to Peoples, which owns seven Ford car dealerships and which recently recorded a pre-tax profit increase of 26 per cent on its annual results.

“The corporate department has the expertise to provide practical business solutions to clients and successfully handle deals in a number of different areas.” said Shahin
