Crop stars at evening fundraiser

WHN’s Family Law team recently supported a charity event in Heywood to raise vital funds for Christies Hospital and MacMillan nurses.

Organised by Clare Pratt from the Back O’th Community Centre, the charity evening raised a fantastic £2,000 for the two charities.

Male guests, including local Councillor, Daniel Meredith took part in a sponsored chest and leg wax, while three brave ladies shaved their heads to raise money. Their hair was donated to the Little Princess Charity which makes wigs for children who suffer from cancer.

Up and coming local boxer Mark Thompson, attended the event to lend his support and WHN’s Kate Allsop was lucky enough to win a boxing glove signed by Ricky Hatton in the charity auction.

WHN has supported the Back O’th Community Centre on a number of initiatives and will be running a free legal clinic at the centre on Thursday, May 22, between 1-3pm and every second Thursday of the month thereafter.

We aim to offer free and confidential legal advice to local residents in relation to the very difficult issues surrounding domestic abuse and social services intervention in families.

WHN has a team of experts ready to advise on how to access legal representation in order to gain a positive outcome for you and your family.

Let our experience, make yours that much easier.
