Testimonials

Faced with a landlord who was prone to issuing Letters Before Action for supposed breaches of lease that either did not exist or frivolous breaches that he himself was in breach of, which caused considerable stress and worry to leaseholders, we came together to collectively enfranchise and claim the freehold.

From the beginning, the team at WHN, led by Eleanor Longworth, were expeditious in their application of the legal matters required to navigate this complex situation.

Eleanor and her team were on hand to advise us every step of the way, and this should not be underestimated especially with a large group of leaseholders because it can take only the slightest disagreement or poor management of the process for it all to fall apart.

However Eleanor together with Katie Hall were always on-hand to ensure the process was as smooth as it could be, ensured all leaseholders were made fully aware of the risks and costs involved and replied to any requests in a timely manner.

The result is that we now own the freehold as far as current UK law will allow, together with a much quieter, simpler and less risky ownership of our apartments.
