Nick Hodgson

Nick joined WHN in May 2026 following a 25-year career in corporate and commercial law, including eight years as a partner at another regional law firm.

He advises clients across the North West on the full range of corporate and commercial matters including corporate transactions, restructuring, shareholders’ and partnership agreements as well as general commercial advice.

During his career, Nick has been consistently recognised in the renowned Legal 500 UK Guide to the UK’s best legal experts and teams. He specialises in understanding and supporting the needs of owner-managed and SMEs businesses in both Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

Nick, who lives in East Lancashire, is a former international swimmer who competed at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games and won a bronze medal at the 1986 Commonwealth Games.
