Business owners in Bury are being offered free advice to help prepare them for major workplace pension changes being phased in by the government.
The ‘getting your business ready for auto enrolment’ seminar is being hosted by Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall solicitors and Jobwise from 3.15pm on Thursday, October 17, at the Village Hotel, Rochdale Road, Bury.
Businesses across the UK are now legally obliged to auto enrol staff into workplace pensions, which without the correct expert legal advice, could cost thousands.
Attendees to the seminar will receive top tips on how to prepare for auto enrolment changes, how much it will cost and how to minimise penalties.
David McCann, senior partner, at Woodcocks Haworth and Nuttall, said: “Some firms still don’t realise the full impact such complex changes will have on their business.
“It isn’t just a case of ensuring current pension schemes are sufficient, there are a number of measures to consider in order to be fully compliant, along with administrative tasks. The seminar led by those with expert knowledge in this field will no doubt help local businesses better prepare.”
A limited number of places are available for the event. To reserve a place please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0161 761 4611.
